Bob
Weil is
the president of Visual Sound and chief designer of Visual Sound
products. In his words,
"Although I don't belong on this page from a guitar-playing standpoint,
some people have asked me over the years if I play guitar. So, click
on my name to hear a clip from a song I wrote and recorded in 2004
for my wife's 40th birthday. The song is called '40 Ways' and features
me on guitar, bass and vocals, my 10 year-old son Ben on drums and
background vocals, and my 12 year-old daughter Bethany on background
vocals. My family (especially my wife, Julie) has been awesome over
the years, standing by me through thick and thin. They deserve a
lot of credit for the success of Visual Sound.
In case you're wondering, I was playing an 80's Schecter Tele (humbucker,
single, humbucker - 2nd 'Strat' position), through both Jekyll & Hyde
channels, and the Echo channel of H2O, into a Fender Hot Rod DeVille
2x12. I hope you enjoy this clip from 40 Ways!" |

Bill "Bluesman" Christy is a... you guessed it... blues
guitarist from Plum Island, MA. Two of his favorite pedals are
Route 66 and H2O. In fact, he doesn't use much else except for
a wah-wah pedal on occassion. Bill is a wonderfully soulful player
who has been playing in bands and as a solo artist since the 60's
and is going stronger than ever today. You can hear his take on Redhouse using
his two favorite pedals and you can visit his website at www.blzman.com.
Enjoy! |

Andreas
Schmidt-Martelle is a very tasty blues player, singer/songwriter,
and producer in Germany. I have had the pleasure of seeing him
play in Frankfurt, Germany, at the Blues & Beyond club on
a few occassions and was blown away by his intensity and musicality.
He plays every note like it was his last, and most of his notes
go through Visual Sound pedals. On Track
1, Adreas is using his Route 66... get this... through a POD!
It just goes to show that the Route 66 pedal can even make a POD
sound great! On Track 2,
he's using the Route 66 again, playing with Thijs van Leer on keyboards,
from the band Focus. Enjoy! |

Bob
Hartman of the legendary Christian Rock band, Petra,
recently came down to our Spring Hill offices to check out the
new Workhorse amps.
Bob has been using both the Jekyll & Hyde and H2O for years
now. He sent us an Mp3 from Petra’s new CD appropriately
named “Jekyll
& Hyde”. Check out Bob using the Jekyll & Hyde pedal
on “All About Who You
Know”. |

John Perry Jekyll & Hyde Video Click Here - John Perry is a guitar player from New York who liked Jekyll & Hyde Ultimate Overdrive so much that he made a demo video and sent it to us to show his appreciation. A former Berklee College of Music student, John has some serious chops to showcase the pedal. It's 3 1/2 minutes of video so it takes a while to download, but it's worth the wait if you want to see and hear what Jekyll & Hyde can do. For those who are curious, the little white pedal that he turns on half-way through is a Boss DD-3... it's no H2O, but it does the trick for opening up a solo. :-) |
