Bart Walker
With a name like a gunslinger, Bart Walker is on the road to becoming an American guitar legend. There are few who can fill the boots of Stevie Ray Vaughan, but when Chris Layton, Tommy Shannon and Reese Wynans of Double Trouble decided to resurrect the band towards the end of 2008 they chose Tennessee native Walker as the compliment to their sound… and when you hear Bart, you’ll know why! An accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Bart tours and records with stars like Bo Bice, Delbert McClinton, Steve Cropper, Lee Roy Parnell, Jim Peterik (from Ides of March and Survivor), Jimmy Hall, Steve Gorman (Black Crows), A.J. Croce (son of Jim Croce), Bo Bice, Audly Freed (Cry Of Love & Black Crows), and Robert Kearns (Lynyrd Skynyrd). Bart’s steady pedal choice for years has been Visual Sound. “They’re just me man, pure and simple.” Listen to Bart and you’ll hear the pedals on everything he does!
