Smashing guitars and swinging his arm like a gunslinger with a pistol on his finger, Pete Townsend is the original theatrical stage guitarist. His writing is legendary and has been glorified on stage with The Who as well as film and ultimately with the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Tommy. Pete is single-handedly responsible for creating Rock Opera with "Tommy" and "Quadrophenia!" These days, Pete continues to create as well as tour with The Who around the world. Pete and his long-time tech, Michael Kaye, have chosen Visual Sound as a part of his infamous sound.
