Switchfoot
A Band, a Mission, a Sound and a Vision... that is Switchfoot, one of the greatest crossover bands to ever come along! Starting out in Contemporary Christian Music in the mid 90's, this San Diego band plowed a lot of ground with their first three records. But, it was their fourth LP, The Beautiful Letdown, that Switchfoot successfully took the leap they wanted and crossed over into the Pop Charts with "Dare You To Move" and "Meant To Live". Jonathan Foreman wasn't content there, as he wanted to continue to write songs and perfect their stage performance, which finds its heart and soul in the very meaning of the name Switchfoot. A surfer term, Jonathan puts it like this, "To switch your feet means to take a new stance facing the opposite direction. It's about change and movement, a different way of approaching life and music". With songs in major Motion Pictures like "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" and hooking up with veteran British producer Tim Palmer (U2; The Cure), Switchfoot continues to break new ground both in the studio and in their incredible live shows.
