The two guitarists, Albert Hammond Jr. (son of legendary songwriter Albert Hammond, Sr.) and Nick Valensi, have been using the V2 Jekyll & Hyde since 1999. Recently at an exclusive party in Nashville, both Albert and Nick told Bob that their sound is solely the result of the V2 Jekyll & Hyde. For both their live gigs and on all their CD’s, what you’re hearing when you listen to the incredible guitar sounds of the Strokes is the V2 Jekyll & Hyde.
