Their sound is fresh and driving, their stage presence, riveting, and their sound…Visual Sound’s Jekyll & Hyde. The two guitarists, Albert Hammond Jr. (son of legendary songwriter Albert Hammond, Sr.) and Nick Valensi, have been using the Jekyll & Hyde since 1999. Recently at an exclusive party in Nashville, both Albert and Nick told Bob that their sound is solely the result of the Jekyll & Hyde. For both their live gigs and on all their CD’s, what you’re hearing when you listen to the incredible guitar sounds of the Strokes is the Jekyll & Hyde.
