With seven CD's under its belt, and the extensive touring Skillet has done, the mission of this band continues to flow out of its devotion and intimacy with God. Founding member, bass guitarist and lead singer John Cooper's lyrics cut deep and mince no words. Coupled with the incredibly talented guitar work of Ben Kasica, Skillet is an unstoppable force in the Christian Music industry. But this band is more than its music. It's collective soul and dedication to the church in Kenosha, Wisconsin to which Skillet relocated says everything about the hearts of four members of this group.
