Al Perkins
There comes along every so often in life, individuals who indelibly mark all those they meet with a profound sense of humility and genuineness to where you realize that the world would be a far greater place if it were filled with more people like them. Al Perkins is one of those people. Although there is no lack of talent or credentials for Al, it's who Al is as a person that makes his light shine that much brighter. With a history longer the a Chinese laundry list, Al has not only been a part of legendary bands and played on legendary records, he has been a major part of the careers of more historical names than this bio can contain. Here are just a few: the Flying Burrito Brothers; Souther, Hillman & Furay; Dan Fogelberg, Stephen Stills & Manassas, Leonard Cohen, Gram Parsons, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Daniel Amos, The Rolling Stones, Joe Walsh, Michael Nesmith, Randy Newman, James Taylor, Debby Boone, Tori Amos, and The Eagles. In the late 80's Al moved to Nashville, where he continued as an innovator, playing with legends like Emmylou Harris and the Nash Ramblers, Garth Brooks, Wynonna Judd, and many, many more. Al is a monster player who requires monster gear to accentuate his creativity. Al's pedals and power supply of choice? Strictly Visual Sound... of course!
