Music in America changed in the late 1960's as Rock made its way into the heart of Country music. It drastically affected the American sound as bands like Buffalo Springfield and Poco, The Eagles, and eventually Pure Prairie League carved their way into the hearts of those who fell in love with their sound and songs. Few have had such a lasting affect and impact as one of the pioneers of what became known as Country Rock, as the legendary Jim Messina. Not only was Jim a part of Buffalo Springfield, but later he and Richie Furay formed what was one of the greatest Country Rock bands ever, Poco. Poco was not only a ground-breaking sound in music, it became the inspiration for another great American band, The Eagles. After Poco, Jim hooked up with a young singer-songwriter named Kenny Loggins, and the rest became music history. With songs like "Angry Eyes",  "Your Mama Don't Dance",  "Watching The River Run", "House At Pooh Corner", "Vahevala" and many, many more, Loggins & Messina continue to this day to be one of America's Legendary duos. Jim's skill as a musician, songwriter, and producer has solidified him for the last 40 years and a superstar among superstars. Visual Sound is proud to be associated closely with the remarkable career and amazing talent of the genuinely wonderful person of Jim Messina.
