Mark Hudson
With a career that has spanned over 45 years, one of the most colorful and most recognizable faces in the music world is that of the incredibly gifted Mark Hudson. One of three brothers that started out making records in the 60’s as The Hudson Brothers, Mark’s career includes: a variety show; a record deal on Sir Elton John’s label and produced by Bernie Taupin; a part along side actress Geena Davis in the sitcom, “Sara”; years of studying the art of Producing under the wisdom and watchful eye of one of Rock’s greatest producers, Phil Ramone; writing hit songs in the 90’s for the likes of Aerosmith (Grammy Nominated song “Livin’ On The Edge”) and Celine Dion; producing albums for Ringo Starr, Aerosmith,Hanson and the Baha Men. Mark also co-wrote the Aerosmith hit, "Just Push Play", as well as co-wrote and produced Ringo Starr's last three albums, Vertical Man, Ringo Rama and Choose Love.
In 2003 he formed a record label with Ringo called Pumkinhead Records and is currently writing with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry for the new Aerosmith CD to come out later this year. If that weren’t enough, Mark is the uncle of actress Kate Hudson.
Mark uses a full set of Visual Sound pedals in his studio in Santa Monica which, by the way, serves as a Beatle Museum with some of the most unique Beatle photographs anywhere. Visual Sound is proud to have such an amazing talent as Mark amongst those who use our family of products.
