In the world of music there are few who have achieved what Steven Curtis Chapman has. To receive a single award such as a Grammy or a Dove (Christian Music's equivalent) is a great honor. But for Steven Curtis Chapman, one is a lonely number far away in the distant past. Having sold over nine million records, including 2 platinum albums and 7 gold albums, Steven has received 5 GRAMMY awards, four consecutively, an American Music Award, 47 Dove Awards (more than any other artist to date), and has recorded 42 #1 radio hits... as well as receiving numerous other honors. Since beginning his recording career in 1987, Steven has recorded fourteen albums. And if that isn't enough, he and his wife Mary Beth established Shaohannah Hope, a foundation providing information and assistance to families who desire to adopt. Steven is not only a great artist and great guitar player... he is a great man.
