This is a New Old Stock (NOS) Celestion G12P-80 Seventy 80 12" 8 Ohm guitar
speaker. We chose these speakers to go into Visual Sound's Workhorse
amplifiers a few years ago for their superior tone. Solid low end, sparking
highs, and just the right amount of mids make this speaker an excellent
choice for any combo amp or cabinet. Since we decided to get out of the amp
business last year and stick with small goods (pedals and power supplies),
we still have a large quantity of these great speakers. They are in brand
new condition and have never been used. They also are from one of
Celestion's earlier production runs of this model which some say were the best.
We actually did an A/B test with a Celestion Gold G12 Alnico and the Seventy 80 sounded better to our ears. You have to hear it to believe it. A ridiculously great speaker for the price!
